Lion, lion roar with might
In the jungle of the night
On the path, beside the river
Between the growth, in moonlight slivers.
Lion, lion roar with rage
Against the dying of the day
Among the rocks, atop the hill
Feasting on a bloody kill.
Lion, lion roar with fury
At the dying of your quarry
Oh, what mighty soul or mind
Dreamt the roar you leave behind.
